Avi Amon
AVI AMON is a Turkish-American composer and sound artist. His original scores for theater, film, dance, and experiential art have been developed or presented by: Actors Theatre of Louisville, Berkeley REP, Spoleto Festival USA, Target Margin, Prospect Theater, BAM, Lincoln Center, La Mama, Barnard, Brooklyn College, Yale REP, Ars Nova, HERE Arts, New Dramatists, and in 100-year old grain silos in Buffalo, New York. Avi is the resident composer at the 52nd Street Project and teaches a variety of collaborative art-making courses at NYU’s Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program.
